Alerts

Provide contextual feedback messages for typical user actions with the handful of available and flexible alert messages.

Examples

Alerts are available for any length of text, as well as an optional dismiss button. For proper styling, use one of the eight required contextual classes (e.g., .alert-success). For inline dismissal, use the alerts jQuery plugin.

NOTE — Note: There are many variations of passages of Lorem Ipsum available, but the majority have suffered alteration in some.

WARNING ALERT — It is a long established fact that a reader will be distracted by the readable content of a page when looking at its layout.

Copy to clipboard<div class="alert alert-primary" role="alert">

</div>

Additional content

Alerts can also contain additional HTML elements like headings, paragraphs and dividers.

Well done!

Aww yeah, you successfully read this important alert message. This example text is going to run a bit longer so that you can see how spacing within an alert works with this kind of content.

Whenever you need to, be sure to use margin utilities to keep things nice and tidy.
